Saturday is one huge community
“backyard” festival! Located south of the Kingston Football
stadium, and the CR Ice Arena. We are
celebrating surviving and healing, thus the name Healing
the Heartland Festival. The activities include a Community
Barbeque, Family Fun Zone, Sports Zone, a comprehensive
Community Care/Services Tent and a concert venue with bands and
speakers.

Saturday, August 9th
“Back To School Rally"
Serve The City was able to serve the Back To
School Rally initiative held Saturday, August 9th at the Kernel's stadium.
This was an amazing day!
Over 2,100 students were served with school supplies stuffed
into back packs!. A big thank you to the committee that
put this together in under 8 weeks - amazing! We have
awesome people in Iowa!
