The 2008 Community Flood Relief
Fund Memo line: 2008 Community Flood Relief Fund
Purpose of the fund: “Serve The City has established a 2008 Community Flood Relief
Fund. The purpose is to assist in rebuilding the lives of those
impacted by the flood of 2008 in the Greater Cedar Rapids
Metropolitan area. The goal is to distribute 100 % of the funds
received to individuals and families. Administration fees will be limited to the actual cost
of funds distribution not to exceed 2 % of the monies
collected.”
Trustee Oversight Committee The Board of Directors of Serve The City has established a
separate Trustee Oversight Committee for this fund.
The Trustees are church community leaders from the Greater Cedar
Rapids area. One of the Trustees is a Grant / Gifts
Management Specialist.
